We adopted Barney a very energetic 4 year old working spaniel about 6 months ago and although I'm self employed there are times when I can't take Barney with me so we needed a dog walker and asked Ed for his help. Ed is absolutely brilliant with Barney and takes him for long walks all over the moors whenever needed. Another huge bonus is that Barney was quite nervous around other dogs when we got him (we were told he had been badly bitten as a puppy) and he would often feel threatened if another dog approached him, sometimes getting quite defensive. We initially asked Ed to walk him on his own but over time Ed introduced Barney to more and more dogs and he's now regularly going on walks with 3 or 4 other dogs (photos on Facebook of then all having a lovely time). I can see a huge difference when I walk him. If another dog approaches he's now quite relaxed and will sometimes even go over and say hello before getting back to his ball (he's ball obsessed!). Barney has also spent a night boarding with Ed and 3 other dogs and he came back really relaxed and quite worn out as two spaniel pups had been running rings around him all night! We couldn't recommend Ed enough, he's a great guy and is brilliant with dogs. We would be more than happy to give him a full reference if anybody wants one - Dennis Bromage
